What is This Page?
GKBC Adventure is dedicated to chronicling the adventures of the first crew of Gawad Kalinga Builders Corps volunteers. We are a group of young adults who have dedicated 6 months to 2 years to serving in the Philippines with Gawad Kalinga, striving to restore dignity to the poorest of the poor. For more info about GK, and their international branches called Answering the Cry Of the Poor(ANCOP), please follow the links in our link list.

- AdMU- Ateneo de Manila University (Jesuit!!!)
- Aircon- Air Conditioning
- Ate- Sister; respectful for older peers
- Jeepnee- a small passenger bus; actually a transformed WWII relic left by the Americans. Many Jeepnees are now "pimped out" by their drivers and include fancy lighting, colorful seats, and extensive graphic arts on the exterior (we even saw one with Aircon!)
- Kuya- Brother; respectful for older peers
